My Background.

 I grew up in the rural parts of New Mexico and Washington State. My mother taught me the power of education and curiosity, I used that to explore who I am.  I sought to pursue my passion in costume design. Costume design is a way for me to connect with others, express sense of self and a form of communication.  

 

My Future.

I am curious to where my interest and passion in design will lead me. I am interested in exploring all areas of design in every form of performance.  

 

My Education.

I attended U.C. Santa Barbara where I majored in Communication, Theatre Costume Design and a minor in German. I graduated top 10% of my class and was the recipient of the Dean’s Award. Following college, I continued higher education at U.C. San Diego where I have earned my MFA in Costume Design.
